Adventure Weekend, founded in 1995 by Betty J Borry and Ellen Moran, joined our family of breast cancer retreats in 2012 after 16 years of support by the American Cancer Society. We welcome women of all ages and stages of breast cancer to share a weekend of adventure and support as they "begin their journey" through breast cancer. Women helping women, celebrating new life, moving from surviving to thriving …..this was Betty 's dream when she founded Adventure Weekend in 1995 and what we strive to continue, in her memory.
For those who have attended a weekend retreat or are hoping to join us in the future, this is a wonderful time to reflect on those people and organizations that have made a difference in our lives.
